I have taught A Level Sociology for close to 10 years at a sixth form college in the north of England. Since 2016 I have taught the AQA specification to a high degree of success and prior to that focused on the OCR specification. I specialise in teaching the compulsory modules Education, Crime & Deviance and Research Methods as well as the optional modules of Culture & Identity and Media and also have experience as an examiner for Paper 3.

I encourage students to work on skills based tasks in order to improve their explanation, application, analysis and evaluation skills, as well as to practice applying the knowledge and content they have studied. In my spare time I enjoy watching the NFL and reading.
