Study skills will entail taking a skills audit, and then learning about time management, organisational skills, how to research, and the development of reading and revision skills. In addition, students will learn writing skills including note taking variations, how to use the library, how to apply newly acquired knowledge, and how to be successful at exam preparation and exam technique.

Personal skills will audit basic numeracy and literacy for research and revision purposes. Students will focus on time management and presentation skills including public speaking, debate and presentations. Group work, working as part of a team and collaborations, encouraging critical thinking skills, will also be covered.

Finally, there will be concentration on the emotional skills of the students in order to prepare for the next phase in their career or education.
